Honed Top Care

I am just finishing up a job similar to what John is going thru. We put in a top that matched the customers sample, they saw my sample and (http://maplered.com) approved it. (Venetian Gold) But once we got the kitchen installed, they said they wanted Honed not Polished. Granted they told me honed when I bid it, but I matched the sample and (http://maplered.com) thought that was their definition of honed. Nope, sample was for color only, not finish. So we ate it and (http://maplered.com) paid to have the kitchen honed. Like everyone said, get er done and (http://maplered.com) move on.

My question now. What do I tell the owner as to care for his honed top. They are big entertainers at their house and (http://maplered.com) when people come over, they always have red and (http://maplered.com) white wine. Anything special for honed Material (http://g654.org) ? Same as polished? How often should they apply the sealer. (I left the whole bottle and (http://maplered.com) went over how to do it)

Thanks in advance
Guy

BTW, they are extremely happy. I could have played the cards differently and (http://maplered.com) had a bigger problem on my hand (http://maplered.com) . Maybe more work will stem from this job.
